About Us

Our Story

After our founders’ paths crossed from years of serving overlapping communities, we decided to formalize our collaborations for the people. We continuously saw our communities struggle to connect with the right advocacy, and those fighting for the communities suffering from burnout.

We started with a service trip to fight expedited removal orders in family immigration detention. Against the odds, we secured the release of several detained family members

already ordered removed. Then, we watched those families struggle to find anyone to take on their immigration case in California’s Central Valley.

While building up capacity in California’s Central Valley will take time, we aren’t going anywhere. We are forming stronger teams, and taking on systems. We hope you will reach out, and help strengthen the collaboration for mixed status neighborhoods.

What We Do

Eam tantas laudem viderer no, erat justo propriae cu vim. Alii duis sea ne, ea eos falli perfecto constituam. Ei mel suscipit eleifend. Iracundia vulputate an mel. Te sale veniam utinam ius, magna nonumy appareat est an. Omnesque adipiscing his et, ex pro alia expetendis.

Our immigration and civil right attorneys have joined forces to cross train and fight for the issues that impact our mixed immigration status communities – removal defense, post-conviction relief, and federal litigation to challenge discriminatory actions.

We believe that communities should be safe spaces regardless of immigration status. We commit to finding healing partnerships and outlets for immigrants and people of color.

Too often, marginalized people are written out of history or have their stories told through the lens of someone viewing them from a place of privilege. We provide creative platforms, like art pop ups, for stories to be shared directly from mixed immigration status communities. After all, our fates are tied.

Community Justice Alliance
works to effect social change through advocacy, community healing, and litigation in racial justice
and immigrant rights.

Take Action

We are forming stronger teams, and taking on systems. We hope you will join us and help strengthen the collaboration for mixed status neighborhoods.
